MICHE MIX OF THE WEEK: THE ONE WITH THE CANCIONES EN ESPAÑOL FROM YOUR MOMMA’S ZUMBA CLASS

MICHE MIX OF THE WEEK: THE ONE WITH THE CANCIONES EN ESPAÑOL FROM YOUR MOMMA’S ZUMBA CLASS
Dancing is also a great way to cope with anything that comes your way throughout the work week. There is nothing like having a dance session and just letting the music take control of your body! Since we are in the last week of National Hispanic Heritage Month, our MICHE MIX OF THE WEEK is made up of epic songs that mothers and tías would most likely enjoy jamming out to during their Zumba class or any type of dance/workout session. It’s a mix that will make it impossible to just stay seated or stand motionless next to a wall. You will be up on your feet ready to hit the dance floor. All these songs are señora approved. (¡Un saludo especial a todas las abuelitas, mamás y tías que nos obligaban a bailar en las fiestas familiares!)

MICHE MIX OF THE WEEK: THE ONE WITH THE SPANISH HITS FROM NUESTRAS REINAS

MICHE MIX OF THE WEEK: THE ONE WITH THE SPANISH HITS FROM NUESTRAS REINAS
In honor of such a special month for our community, our MICHE MIX OF THE WEEK is dedicated to all those brilliant women who have given us their talent through their music en español. This playlist honors all these women by including 2 of their songs. These are songs that we grew up listening to with our parents and our friends. Some of these songs have been present through the many stages of our lives. This playlist includes hits from Celia Cruz, Gloria Estefan, Ana Gabriel and Jenni Rivera. It also includes legends like Laura Pausini, Natalia Jiménez, Eydie Gorme and Rocío Dúrcal who aren’t latinas, but who deserve to be in this list since they spread our beautiful spanish language with their songs. They are honorary latinas in our community. Some of the women featured are no longer with us, but their music will live on forever.
